Independent herd data analysis - with our Wingman Warrant of Fitness or Wingman Future Herd Audit - is the foundation which our work with you and your herd is built. All it requires is access to your herd records; meaning we can do it no matter where you are in the country.

Our Warrant of Fitness looks at your herd as it is TODAY.  During the Warrant, we go looking for your best cows, your worst cows and everything in between. We look at breed splits, live weight and crucial traits like udder and fertility. Unconstrained in our thinking, we aim to uncover the hidden gems and offer actionable insights.

The Future Herd Audit looks at your herd like it will be TOMORROW.  Focusing exclusively on your calves and in-calf heifers, it addresses the question of ‘Is tomorrow’s herd being built properly?”  We segregate out Production and TOP traits, and undertake a more in-depth analysis of the sires in these two age groups.  Liveweight (both real-time and genetic) is also put under the microscope.  

Together, the Warrant of Fitness and Future Herd Audit provide you with valuable insights into your entire herd’s strengths and weaknesses, and identifies key areas for improvement.  The reports also incorporate a 30-60 minute debrief via video call to highlight findings and suggest potential next steps to enhance your herd’s performance.
