Sometimes there are random things you need a hand with that aren’t covered by the Warrant of Fitness, Future Herd Audit or Herds for Life bundle.  Work we’ve done over the past 12 months outside of our key products and services has typically fallen into one of three categories -

Stock sales and purchases

What extra value can we create in your farm business by being more strategic about stock sales and purchases?  We’ve successfully helped our clients buy herds and lines of animals to either expand their current operation or improve the quality of their herd. Understanding ALL the numbers on a herd profile and asking the right questions of the stock agent and vendor can add or detract significant value from those animals!  

Preparing your herd for sale

Helping you to work out a 2-3 year plan to exit out of your herd successfully, taking into account age structure, likely rejection rate, herd marketability, desirable/undesirable traits etc.  We can provide vendors with a no-BS, honest appraisal of how their herd is represented in their herd records. It gives buyers the confidence to bid on your herd knowing full well what they are purchasing - our report goes deeper than simply a herd profile with an AB company logo and BW and PW figures.
